Amazon android description not displayed

    It looks like they are now using png files instead of jpg. The parser wasn’t expecting that.

    I will add that into 6.0.6.

    Dear sealsystems,

    When putting [amazon_item asin=”B00BSW0M34″] in the description field to create a new post and the after publishing it, the title + the image (indeed a png image) and the features are displayed, but not the description. Why is the description not displayed?

    It looks like that ASIN only has a features list returned from amazon.com. I am getting the same thing on my test site.

    That is a pitty. Can you get an excerpt of it?

    When I look at the feed that comes from amazon, there is no description besides the features list. You can, though, manually paste in en excerpt just above the shortcode.

    Dear Sealsystems,

    I have been doing some investigation and indeed amazon does not provide the description due to copyright issues with some content providers. Is their a way to get the feature in the excerpt?
