    Hi all.

Activating the a3 Lazy Load plugin makes my Amazon affiliate image links disappear, as seen in the link provided. (There should be an image of the item I’m discussing under each heading.) These particular images, which are added using custom HTML provided by Amazon, seem to be the only ones currently affected.

I’ve tried disabling a number of plugins and it hasn’t resolved the issue. I have also tried inserting the HTML code to exclude the image from the lazy load to no avail, though admittedly I am not an expert at coding.

Any thoughts on what might be interfering or how to resolve? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the link – OK a couple of things that I can see from the frontend is that you have used this exclusion class <img class="lazy lazy-hidden"> which is incorrect.

    Please use <img class="skip-lazy">

The images are actually there and being lazy loaded but some JavaScript on your site is auto setting the width and height of the image at 1px and so you can’t see them.

You could check and see if you have a plugin that has something to do with image auto resize or auto scale – that will be the cause of the issue. If you can find that deactivate it and you should see the images lazy loaded in the correct size and you won’t have to exclude them from Lazy Load.

If you do find that is the issue please let me know the name of the plugin.

Thanks so much for your help! After what felt like forever, I FINALLY found what was causing the issue: Jetpack’s image accelerator. I had disabled plugin after plugin to no avail. To be honest, I didn’t even realize that feature existed.

    Thanks again for your help!

I think you are talking about the Jetpack Site Accelerator option that is built into a3 Lazy Load. If so good that you found it.

    Cheers

    Hi Steve,

I actually found the issue through the settings on the Jetpack plugin itself (I just have the free plan). Turning it on and off is causing other things to break, whether I do it through the Jetpack settings or through a3 Lazy Load, so I just added any pages that have Amazon photo links to the list under “Exclude by URI’s and Page Types” on a3 Lazy Load.

Thanks so much, again, for your help!

    Best wishes,
    Gwen
