• I have searched this forum and still no answer- Amazon furnishes affiliate code that they say is html… I put it on my page or in a text box widget for sidebar and nothing appears. The only code that ever works is ‘text only’ I want all widgets and images to work. Within the code are the words ‘javascript’ – is this part of the issue?
Totally frustrated with the time spent on seeking a solution. Thanks

Thanks- all of that technical stuff is making my head explode. ??
Here is code for a product. I put it in a text box…. nothing.
Put it on my page (html tab) nothing. I see this says iframe…. seems like Amazon changes .. regardless, it is not html, is it?

    <iframe src=”https://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?lt1=_blank&bc1=000000&IS2=1&bg1=FFFFFF&fc1=000000&lc1=0000FF&t=karenville-20&o=1&p=8&l=as4&m=amazon&f=ifr&ref=ss_til&asins=B0051VVOB2&#8243; style=”width:120px;height:240px;” scrolling=”no” marginwidth=”0″ marginheight=”0″ frameborder=”0″></iframe>

    That is HTML, yes.

I was in the same boat as you, needed to get Amazon Affiliate code on my page, couldn’t do it however, I just did.

We name our links when the code is given to us, so name it appropriately (I didn’t but oh well) and then at the location you want that link name to show up in your narration for customers to click, switch from the default “visual” to the “html” tab at the top right hand of your post pad or page. As soon as you choose html you see everything looks funny and if you have set other regular links you can see the html behind them. Enter your code where it needs to be, go back to the visual view and there is the name in blue of your link in text just like you created it on Amazon. Preview your page ( I did mine in another browser just to make sure) and then upload it if aok.
