Amazon ads not showing-code is displaying, ads are not

  • I posted my code into the ad box per WP instructions but the ads do not display. I have checked with different browsers and it seems to just be related to WP. This blog is posted on hostgator. My other site (not WP blog) is on 1 & 1 and ads are displaying correctly. Can anyone help? I can get the ads to display IN the post so I know the code is correct. They just won’t display in the sidebar where they should. Thanks in advance

  • WordPress does not support any ad boxes by default, so I can only assume that this is something specific to your theme. Have you tried reading any documentation that accompanied the theme or contacting the theme’s developer?

    There is no documentation with the theme. If I use one of the themes on the wordpress site itself would I be able to place ads in the sidebar? Do you know? Is there a plugin I could get that would allow me to post ads in the sidebar? thanks so much for responding! ??

    In theory, you could place ads in any theme that has a sidebar.
