Amazing security – does everything you ask for

I’ve been using Shield for ~2 years now. It’s very thorough and secure. It has stopped multiple brute-force attacks and reports to me the date/time and username attempted. I also use it on combination with Cloudflare.

Anyway, I subtracted 1 star because it does not have an option to block directory browsing. It does block directory traversal by applications, but not your standard ol’ directory browsing via a browser. I’m still manually editing the .htaccess file to control that. Would be nice for that feature to be built-into the plug-in.
