Amazing project with annoying usability flaws.

  • I actually love what Gutenberg is trying to achieve. I have even switched my production site over to Gutenberg because I believe in the vision.

    However, many things are hard to do with it still.

    EVERY editable text block should have font controls. (Update: I notice the new unified toolbar in 3.7, it is a huge step in right direction, thank you!
    Please allow color changing and font size changing for blocks in pages. Also, please allow to style headers of blocks.)

    There urgently needs to be a proper way to do a responsive 6 column block with clickable images and descriptions.

    Also I would love to see full width option available on all blocks.

  • Kinda agree. Would love a “styling” bar a la mailchimp.

    I just discovered version Gutenberg 3.7 just implemented a styling bar, it lacks color and font size options on blocks in pages, but it is a step in the right direction.

    Also it lacks support for block headers.
