• It pains me that such a great looking plugin cant have one simple, fundamental feature which is to allow the user to place it wherever he wishes easily, using a shortcode. This is the one thing that deters me from using it. I will gladly award 5 stars once this feature comes through.

    Thanks for your review, Robert.

The shortcode option is reserved for the premium version of the plugin and probably won’t make it to Fancier Author Box.

note: The shortcode feature is not mentioned anywhere in the description for this (free for anyone to use) author box plugin. If you want to contribute and add this feature so you and others can benefit from it, I welcome you to join (time-consuming) development of this plugin on GitHub.

    Cheers

P.S. Regarding the “blackmail” remark (I will gladly give…. if you….); I believe everyone, you included, can do better than that.

    Hi Dragan

It was never my intention to “blackmail” (I also think it’s used in the wrong context here, this would be reverse blackmail).

Also, I wasn’t aware there was a premium version associated with this plugin, as it isn’t described on the info page. If I was I would have gladly checked it out instead of leaving a subpar review. I agree this is my fault, I’m sorry. This obviously doesn’t deserve 3 stars, it shall be amended. Thank you for providing a free version in the first place.

    Hey Robert,

www.remarpro.com repository is a place for free plugins and we don’t want to abuse it in order to sell commercial plugin versions.

And, sorry for my bad choice of words.

    Cheers
