Amazing Plugin

I just decided to create my podcast last week and was shocked by how complicated many podcast plugins make podcasting out to be. I checked out no less than 4 podcast plugins, including a very popular and recommended plugin that just overwhelmed me with a whole load of options I don’t need, and couldn’t believe why everything was so complex. And note that I haven’t even gotten to creating my podcast!!!!

Not with this plugin though. Hugh (the plugin author) GETS IT with Seriously Simple Podcast. A neat “Podcast” custom post type is created for your podcasts, and this category is located right under “Posts” in your WordPress sidebar, which makes it so easy and intuitive to add new episode posts and access past episodes. Hugh makes podcasting simple and it’s thanks to his plugin. Also, he’s there personally addressing questions in the support forum — I posted a problem over the weekend and he answered it in 2 days with a real working solution.
