    I contacted the support team after I couldn’t get an old duplicator backup to restore, and they really went the extra mile to help me fix the issue!

    First they sent me an export of the WP posts just to be safe.

    Then to update the site and get my old backup file working, they:

    1. Downgraded the PHP version to?7.4?on our test server and increased the server settings
    2. Installed the backup
    3. Disabled the plugins and set a default theme
    4. Updated WordPress
    5. Updated the PHP version to 8.2
    6. Updated plugins and reactivated the theme
    7. Enabled the plugins

    They sent me the updated duplicator backup files, and I managed to restore the site to its former glory.

    I wasn’t expecting this level of support! Very impressed and grateful.
