AMAZING!

  • Absolutelly AMAZING plugin…simple and powerfull comments for wp…I have tried very intrusive comments plugin like disqus and this is a greatly customizable plugin without messing everything like disqus and others…AMAZING!! thanks for the great job!!

    As a sugestion it would be great to be able to chose between user name and nick when showing post authors.

    Thank you very much for the 5* review. We do our best to make wpDiscuz the best self-hosted comment system for WordPress .

    As a suggestion it would be great to be able to chose between user name and nick when showing post authors.

    wpDiscuz uses WordPress display-name settings and shows the name which has been chosen by user on his profile managing page. Please see this screenshot: https://screencast.com/t/JbloWb8sz6k3
    So you can already show Username, Nickname, Firstname, Lastname or Firstname+Lastname as a display name on comment-box.

    Yes, you are right, the plugin works perfect with the internal option in wp you gave me (thanks for the screen)…the problem now (its a bit oftopic I know but maybe you or someone can help) is that by default that option in wp is name and surname and I want just the “nick” for everyone but users cant acces to back end wp profile and I cant change that setting for every user manually so is there any way to change that wp default option????? I cant find a real solution for this!!
