If you go to that extent to avoid exploits, then you must have a sad life.
    Rule 1: Keep backups.
Rule 2: Never let anything (that includes spam and exploits) inconvenience you. Because, that’s just what the spammers and exploiters want.

who said it was solely for the purpose of avoiding exploits? what if you had an mt blog and didn’t want to change the look and feel of your site just because you’d changed software?

you must have a sad life.

hmm, looking around the forum you often seem to descend into personal attacks when people don’t agree with you. but i don’t know what other circumstances may be affecting you, so i will just hope you have a merry christmas and a happier new year.

The problem for me, is that, it’ll be hard to fit a link into the design of my blog, although WP will definatly be linked from some pages and posts, we’ll see if it makes it on all the pages…
