• Using HTML “class” and “id” is always a good practice and this plugin inherits all Font Awesome intelligent tactic.
Maybe could be “awesome” to have a settings panel for icon font positions and destinations:

    – a “before/after” text option when used in menus for people no css coders
    – a “destination field” where you could decide in which element of pages and posts insert the icon and not only in menus, or a short code to paste wherever you want, or better a short code generator
    – a not Font Awesome only library

Actually we need 2 to 3 plugins to do that job and you know… “conflicts” is the bad word.
I know there are several plugins doing a TinyMCE integration also and I’m forced to use them. But NEW NINE is reliable and the product is very good, so could be very amazing if all of those plugins converge in just ONE absolute icon font spread engine developed by NEW NINE.

    Amazing job.
    Wonderful plugin.

Thanks OpenRing!! We’ve been discussing adding some of these features and will probably do so in the coming weeks.
