Always use the same image from my library

    Hi there, i am wondering how i can setup an import with a standardised media file as my featured image always without “importing” it again and again to the media-library as there is no need to re-upload it everytime an import takes place. i hope you understand my needs.

    Hey @braino,

    As long as “Use images currently in Media Library” is chosen in the “Images” section & the image is assigned in the field provided by that option, the Media Library would be referenced here.

    If you’re trying to assign a featured image without importing anything in the “Images” section, though, you would have to leverage our API to accomplish that (as our plugin expects the featured image to be specified in the “Images” section out of the box).

    I am sorry, can you dumb it down a bit for me? Does this mean that if i chose use images currently in media library that the image won’t get imported every time again and again?

    or could you tell me what i should ask an external developer exactly?
