Would you check one more thing, please?

– start web developer tools in browser (here’s a guide for Chrome but it’s similar in all browser)

– with that open on “Console” tab try to save those troublesome settings in SmartCrawl and see if there are any errors showing up in console; if yes note them down or screenshot them

– then also checked the “Network” tab and see if there are any “Fetch/XHR” requests – or just “admin-ajax.php” requests – that are failing and if so – what are they and with what error (HTTP status code)

Let us know about those please.

I also wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my test sites so it’s very odd.

From what you’ve shared, it looks all good actually, but in such cases we’d expect some clues to be there.

Can you share Site info output so we can check if there’s anything we missed here? To do that, please go to Tools >> Site Health >> Info tab and use the “Copy site info” option.

Thanks for sharing the info, however, I’m afraid I couldn’t find much info that would state causing an issue. Could notice the resources are low, however, it shouldn’t be causing the issue noticed.

Could we know whether you notice the issue with any specific settings or fields in Title & Meta?

Where exactly you are trying to add the macro? ie whether it’s on the Taxonomies, Archives or any Custom Post Types etc?

Do you face the same issue if your try adding in other post types? Could you please share a full-page screenshot of where you are entering, so that it would also give a better idea?

I am using woocommerce plugin and i want to add meta title in woocommerce product category, tags and in attributes taxonomy.

Steps are
1. SmartCrawl -> Title & Meta -> Homepage – I can change anything here and save settings button works properly. (I notice this is ajax saving button)

2. SmartCrawl -> Title & Meta -> (Post Types, Taxonomies, Archives, Settings) In all these tabs when i click save settings button with or without any changes plugin shows error Min length invalid & Max length invalid.
(I notice these are not ajax saving buttons)
