Always shows 0 results

Hi,

Well is is hard to say where exactly you have a problem.

First check that you enable searching in all needed fields ( drag&drop fields in the green block for ‘Search in’ setting ).

Make sure that you index all your content by pressing ‘Reindex table’ button.

What number you see near ‘Products in index:’ text? Is there all your products that you have on your site?

I had the fields in the wrong boxes – I moved them all to the green block, reindexed and cleared the cache.

Now I see Products in Index: 1619, that looks right.

When I search and enter even all the characters in a word (like ‘electrolyte’) the spinner just spins, it never shows suggested terms below the search box. But when I click it does now take me to a page with what looks like the correct number of results.

How do I get the results showing below the search box as I’m typing?

Can you give me the link with the live example of this issue?

To get past the authentication box type in demo, express1. You might have to do it more than once.

No help from the author, but we discovered this only works correctly (on the form page) on HTTPS pages.
