Always posting front page post in any categories

Howdy,

I’ve got a little problem. Is it possible to get a category to always show, no matter what sub-section the user is in? The reason I’m asking this is I’m in the midst of renovating my front page and the new layout is not quite working. Here is what I have right now:

As you can see, on the left we have the new content, no matter what the section except for home since this is in the second column. Right now, it works on the front page, but whenever the user goes into a sub-section, the right column is empty (since we are in a different section). how do I force the right column to always show the posts from the Home section?
(yes, the links go back to the original page right now…)
