• Traditionally, if I edit in HTML editor in one page, save and go into another, it opens up in the HTML editor by default.

That has saved me from having advanced code stripped by the reformatting the visual editor does. However, on most pages I still require the visual editor so I don’t disable it.

Just today I noticed that WordPress isn’t remembering which editor tab I was working in. So there’s no way to update pages with advanced code unless I disable visual.

Is anyone else encountering this problem? I know I need to upgrade to the latest WP version, but I don’t think that’s the issue.

    Thanks!
