ALWAYS LOGS OUT WHEN I TRY TO ADD LINK TO POST!

  • WordPress keeps automatically logging out when i try to add links to posts.

    I can login to the admin area, and I can update posts when i add only text and pictures, but when i try to add links, then i click the “update” button I am automatically logged out!

  • Do you have any firewall plugins installed?
    Have you whitelisted your IP if so?

    Thank you for the suggestion, but i Just deactivated all my plugins and I still have the same problem.

    Which version of WP are you on?
    Have you completed the update to WP 4.0?

    yes I updated to 4.0

    I’m having the same issue. What theme are you using? Maybe we can eliminate plugin’s together by seeing if we have any similar ones.

    I’m getting quite frustrated with it.

    It’s JETPACK!!!!!

    I deactivated everything. The problem stopped and I added them back one by one. It might be a plugin Jetpack uses but I’m going to delete it and reinstall it. I’m trying to think of what add-on I added from jetpack yesterday and for the life of me I can’t think of one.

    i’m still getting logged out when i try to add links and update posts, can anyone help?

    When i try to add a link to a post in chrome, when i click update I just see the message “no data recieved”

    error code: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

    but apparently it isn’t logging me out now, just showing me that message, but still can’t update links in my posts. please help, this is extremely annoying.
