Alumni or Student Directory

I’m looking for recommendations for a plugin. I need to setup a directory of alumni or students. I’d like it to be rather simple, as what I’d like to have is for anyone to come to my site and search for their name from that database. I’ve looked at a few of the membership plugins and they are rocket ship capabilities and I need to build a paper airplane. Simplicity, and ideally with an ability to import existing lists, and a simple easy to use interface that someone can just input a person’s last name to then search to see if they are on the list. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
