  • No, it’s not a bug. This is expected behavior.

    The home page is public, so if you pull restricted posts into it, you are making them publicly visible. Alternative View Protections won’t help you then.

    You have these choices:

    1. Use a different home page that only links to unprotected posts.

    2. Link only to a custom excerpt for each post, not the protected content itself.

    3. Use shortcodes to determine what gets shown.
