Alternative to ReCaptcha v3?

I am a web designer and I use CF7 across many client sites. I had Recaptcha v3 installed as well. I learned through happenstance that Recaptcha has been flagging many valid form submissions as spam and as a result, clients were not receiving inquiries. For those clients that I had installed Flamingo, we were able to go back in time and capture missed messages, but alas not all had Flamingo so there are potentially messages lost. For those with Flamingo, the “lost” messages had landed in the Spam folder.

At the moment, I have now disabled Recaptcha v3 across all sites, which of course has produced an uptick in true spam form submissions.

What are my alternatives here? How can we get proper spam filtering that won’t over-filter? Do I have to switch to Gravity Forms? Is there another BETTER filter for use with CF7? I’d rather not have to recode all those forms.
