alternative to Ordered by menu

    Really loving this plugin as a solution for our directory.

    One problem we are having is, now that we have all our staff in the database the “Order” menu has become unwieldy. Our complete staff list is just above 350 so it causes the Order menu to be quite large. when trying to reorder people the changes don’t seem to always take. I usually have to make the changes, and reload a few times before the changes actually take.

    any ideas on ways to make this better?

    Hey Josh –
    Honestly, I never envisioned someone using it for that many people, but I’m glad you are. ??

    Currently there’s not a way to change the orderby for the query used to grab staff members, but I do have plans to make that filterable.

    I’m not sure how complicated it would be, but maybe making it so that we could order them per group as well. That would allow the groups to be smaller. So far the plugin has been working great for us. Really its just that one thing that we run into problems with.
