Alternative to Google Maps API?

    Hello. Google Maps API is much too expensive for sites with high traffic. And the API setup is not that user friendly for non-techie users.

    Would you consider adding another option for maps & geolocation such as Leaflet & Open Street Map? I think plugin users would like to have such an option.

    That is a great idea and we always intended to do that but we are just short of resources and it is always getting pushed back time and again. Hopefully, someday soon!

    Thanks! This directory plugin has options for both Google Maps API and Mapbox/OpenStreetMaps and it works great with the free token from Mapbox without any complicated setup.

    Maybe you can take a look at the code or get some ideas from the developer for integration of Mapbox option that would save you a lot of time.
