• Would anyone happen to know how I would go about specifying alternative text for Flash content in RSS Feeds?
    One of my feeds https://www.mildlyhotpeppers.com/comics/archive/movies/feed/ is flash only, so it’s pretty worthless by itself. I don’t mind, since there are links to the actual content. It’s just that, as of now, there’s nothing at all for the description, and I’d like something like “New Video: _TITLE_” appearing. I put that in the excerpt field of each post, and it’s showing up on Firefox. In Thunderbird and Google reader, however, it is not.

    Help, anyone?

  • Why not just write a brief description below the flash embed. That way people can read about it via RSS and then link to the post if they have an interest in playing.
