    Hello!

The alternative payment methods are not shown on the checkout page.

I am located in Austria and as far as I understand, the payment method EPS should be displayed here. Unfortunately, only PayPal and credit cards are available on the checkout page.

This is the case for all online shops where the plugin is used.

    Thank you for your help!

    Best regards,

    David

    Hello @gottschalk

Your site is currently using the Block Checkout feature. Unfortunately, our plugin does not support APMs on Block Checkout at this time. To resolve this you’ll need to switch to the Classic Checkout instead.

Please let us know if you need further assistance with these settings.

    Kind Regards,
    Krystian

    Hello Krystian!

Thank you for the quick response.

Unfortunately, I also have this issue with old non-block themes that use Classic Checkout.

    For example here: https://ag18gallery.com

As said, the problem exists in all installations I administer.

And is there a roadmap for support of Block Checkout ?

    Thank you for your help!

    Best regards,

    David

    Hello @gottschalk

I attempted to test APMs on the site you provided, but it appears that only EPS is enabled at the moment (most of them are disabled). It’s important to note that PayPal determines which APMs are displayed during checkout based on their internal resources and verification for the specific buyer. Simply enabling an APM in the plugin doesn’t guarantee it will always appear in the checkout for every customer.

The PayPal Smart Buttons, including APMs, are displayed within an embedded iframe, which is managed entirely by PayPal. The plugin can only enable or disable these options but has no control over their final presentation or availability during checkout. To narrow down the issue, it would be helpful to verify if the problem affects only EPS or other APMs as well.

Regarding your question about the roadmap for Block Checkout support: there is ongoing development for broader compatibility, but at this time, we don’t have a confirmed timeline. We recommend keeping an eye on our official documentation and release notes for updates.

Please let me know if you’d like additional assistance with this matter.

    Kind Regards,
    Krystian

    Dear Krystian!

    Thank you for your help.

    This topic is resolved.

Regarding the APM on Classic Checkout there was some confusion on my side. APMs now work fine on Classic Checkout.

I hope the Block Checkout will be supported soon, since it looks so much better than the Classic Checkout.

    Best regards,

    David
