    Hello @franks123

Thank you for reaching out to us, When we checked your website and found out that you are not using AMP plugin currently.

The “Alternate Page with Proper Canonical Tag” status message in Search Console means that there are two versions of a page on your website having the same canonical URL. Search Console will simply exclude the duplicate version and index the main version of the page.

This ideally means the search console recognizes these canonicalized URLs correctly and there is nothing you need to do on your part.

However, We will recommend contacting your SEO plugin support and Search Console Support to learn more about them.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @franks123

Don’t worry about those URLs with “?amppage” at the end. They work just like normal website addresses with extra information attached (like a search query) and won’t affect your site.

The AMP plugin itself doesn’t create these URLs. It’s possible another plugin or theme you’re using has a custom link structure that’s causing a conflict with AMP. This might be why you’re seeing those URLs.

The good news is, Google’s search bots will visit your site again within 2-4 weeks and update the links in your Search Console. Meanwhile, everything should work as expected.

I will suggest trying AMP plugin on your Local or dev setup first and then use it, you may find the getting started guide helpful.

    We hope this helps!

These affected pages are 111,962 on 21st May. All the error links are of Amp. Amp plugin is deleted one month ago. Why it is increasing slowly slowly now? and why amp links are still showing if plugin is deleted one month ago? Please review the screenshot in mentioned below link
