  • So is this the same as the WP repo version? It uploads as the same version and author, but i do see a few differences in the admin interface.

    testing this version now.

And do none of these CDN sync tools upload files like ZIP or MP3? seems to be the key issue i run into.

This is forked from this plugin’s repo on github, so essentially it’s the same code. We’ve made a number of updates, though.

As far as uploading zip and mp3, can you submit an issue on github with further information?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the contribution.

I’m looking for a plugin that will upload all content to Amazon S3 not only content uploaded via WordPress media library. Replace the any URL’s linked to the local file and also delete the local file.

I’ve found plugins that do all this except that they only work with the WordPress media library uploads.

Does this plugin have the ability to work with files outside of the WP library? For example for content uploaded from the front end by users.

No this plugin won’t handle the functionality you outlined.

    Any news on the update?

You can follow along on github: https://github.com/WDGDC/CDN-Sync-Tool

We’re working on getting this fork on WordPress, but there are a few more things that need to be fixed.

    Hi Mike

I just installed your forked plugin on a WordPress 3.6.1 multisite, running on IIS 7.5 with PHP 5.4

I get the following PHP error when I activate the plugin:
[17-Oct-2013 22:15:48 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function syncFiles() on a non-object in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\cdn-sync-tool\cdn-sync-tool.php on line 113

If this has to do with the forked plugin could you please submit a support ticket to github?

Any updates? Looking forward to the release of this plugin!
