Alternate POSTS page does not work with IE

  • I have defined an alternative page as the Posts Page (Settings / Reading). This appears to display correctly in Firefox but is refused by IE (Version 8 with Compatibility View). We are using MistyLook.
    Note also that without compatibility view tables do not display correctly.
