Alternate Button Radius

    With latest update the Alternate Button is reverting to a default border-radius of 4px and ignoring any customizations saved to a child theme. Affected style:
    :root :where(.wp-block-button.is-style-alternate–4 .wp-block-button__link)?

    Hi Emily,

    thanks for reaching out. Can you share how you’ve implemented the customizations in the child theme, is it via the site editor or via custom CSS?

    For adjusting the alternate buttons style, you go to Global Styles -> Blocks -> Button (Singular! not the Buttons (plural) one!) -> Alternative Button -> Border Radius. The 4px is coming from the theme.json file, but you can change it in the site editor globally for all Alternate Buttons here.

    Thank you for your reply Jessica! So, I am using a child theme (this issue occurred on two sites).     Thank you for sharing the video. We’re currently investigating, there have been changes to the buttons with the last update and apparently it seems like we missed something there.

    You can use the workaround I shared in my first reply in the meantime. This will override the 4px that is coming from the (parent) theme.json.

    Thank you for your patience. I just updated the Greyd WP theme with some changes regarding the styles for the alternate buttons. Please update your site and check if the button behaviour has improved now. If you have any further questions, let me know!
