Altering headr with in 2010 weaver

Hi there.

Is it possible to alter the header width in 2010 weaver? Ideally I would like the header to be about 70-80% of the current width with a clickable image taking up the rest (image showing our phone number a linking to the contact page with email submission form). I don’t really want the whole of hte headr to link to the contacts page hence wnating to split it into two rather than have a single image across the top as I would like the header part to link back to our homepage.

Below the contact image/link in the right sidebar I want to put two – three more clickable images linking to various other key pages on our website, one below the other.

Any ideas? Could I change the width and then start the sidebar from the top? Or leave the sidebar where it is and add another div i.e. headerright that allows me to put the separate contact image/link in? Any ideas how I would do this? I’m too new to have worked out all teh intricacies yet!!
