• When you upload an image, you then click on it and hit ‘send to edit box’ (or something similar), and poof, it sends the code.

Is there a way of editing the code it sends, so that (for example) every time I hit ‘send to edit box’ the code has border=”0″ in it?

Same goes for the link button; can I alter it so that it automatically adds a target=_blank ?

    wellofdreams:
this is easy to do if you use the Iimage Browser plugin. With Iimage browser you can do several things that desire: you can manually edit the code before you send it to the editor, you can write your own custom code that is inserted automatically with a simple button click, or using the hack that I wrote a while back you can have a variety of buttons in the editor that each write a different code wrapper for the image depending on which radio button you select. You can find it here.

As a bonus, you can also use a custom directory structure to organize you images

Hang on, this doesn’t do what I want either. In a very roundabout sort of way (i.e. it takes twice as long as just using the WP upload feature) you can get it to generate a code for you, but it’s still just a generic code which doesn’t include “border=0″ or my <div class=”photo”> tag; I still have to add that every time.

Can someone direct me to the file and place in the WP root file where I can add that, so it shows up as default, maybe?
