• Hi, I’m pretty new to altering wordpress templates, coming from blogsome to my own wordpress installation, but I wonder if anybody can help me??
    I would like to use pictures with a 600px width in many of my posts, but they overlap the sidebar. Not a good thing. Is it possible to alter the css to make the central column, where the posts go, wider??

    I use the daysee rae gemini-template, the CSS for it is the following:

    /*

    It’s very confusing for me. I’ve already altered about every px value I could find in this stylesheet, but none of them actually affect the central column, they just alter the fontsize and stuff like that…

  • I don’t use these templates, but you probably want to alter the #content width to greater than 600px. Also, post a link to your css rather than posting it all right here. Helps with reading the thread.

    Found it. I had to alter it on two different locations for the thing to work, both on #content and #farouter.

    But now onto the next problem:
    Now the pictures AND the sidebare are nicely displayed, but the text that appears from the posts is too narrow.

    Which piece of the code tells how wide the text of the post can go???
