  • Hi fidzi,

It looks like you are using v2.x of our plugin. I’ll need to see what things look like with 3.0 in place in order to help you. Please re-update to 3.0 and/or provide me with some screenshots so I can see what’s going on.

    Thanks,
    Jonah

    Hi fidzi,

What theme are you using? Have you tried changing the Event Template option in Events > Settings > Display?

    Hi Jonah,
yes I tried changing settings. When I use “Default Events Template” calendar display ok, but only full width without sidebar:

When I use “Default Page Template” calendar display like on screenshot above.

I am using child Attitude theme on multisite. Is there any compatibility issue?

    Thanks

    Hi fidzi,

Yes, it sounds like some compatiblity issue and unfortunately there’s not much I can do to help. You’ll need to use the template option that works and then modify the template accordingly to be full width. Good luck!

    Hi
I’m experiencing the same problem, but I use a different theme; Pagelines Pro.

If I use the “Default Events Template” the calendar and the list view is showing correct, but the widgets/sidebars all disappear.

When I use the “Default Page Template” the calendar and the list view display like posts. In this view my widgets are fine and the site is appearing just the way it should.

In case the solution is to use the “Default Events Template”, how can I work around it to make the sidebars show?

Hey again isvei. Jonah’s unfortunately left the team, but I want to follow-up here to help get you sorted.

What stylesheet settings were you using with the Default Page Template? Assuming those remained unchanged when you switched from the Default Events to Default Page, no formatting should have changed beyond the addition/removal of the sidebars.

Any chance a theme/plugin conflict could be at play? Have you already tried deactivating your other plugins and reverting to the Twenty Twelve theme, to see if this issue still persists there? I also just found this thread from the tri.be forums (https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/events-page-doesnt-show-up/#post-54679), which might be of value to you if you’re running that same version of Pagelines…let me know.

When i switch to Twenty Twelve the “Default Events template” makes my sidebars disappear (as they did with Pagelines).

Using the “Default Page Template” it all seems to look okay actually.

I guess this means that it’s a conflict with The Events Calendar and Pagelines?

The link you sent didn’t clear things up for me, I think the are having a different issue.

I have exactly same problem. I am using SimpleCatch theme and any of the display settings won’t work. Here is what I am seeing when opening calendar:

    – Default events template: The whole page just stucks and after timeout only header will be displayed without any content
    – Default page template: Only the sidebar is shown, no content whatsoever
    – Blog: The frontpage of the site is shown

The problem started when I updated the Event Calendar plugin to 3.0.x. Before that it worked like a charm.
