Alt updates don’t save

    I add the caption, alt tag, and description and hit update. It flickers and nothing changes!

    Hello, I am sorry to hear you are having an issue. Will you provide me with the following answers so I can help figure out what the problem is.

    1. What theme and version are you suing
    2. What version of WordPress are you using
    3. What version of php are you using

    Same issue (I think). Here’s what I’m doing…

    1 – Select Posts / Pages, then Show All Pages
    2 – Click Edit for a page
    3 – Enter Alt Text for Image
    4 – Click Update

    At this point, the whole screen darkens a bit and then I get an animation with 3 white dots in the middle of the screen. This never ends and the alt text is not updated.

    I’m using the Astra free theme (latest version), WordPress v5.3.2 and PHP v5.6.38

    Same thing happens in both Chrome and Firefox

    Can you check your browser console to get the error log, when you start getting the continues circle icon press F12 (for chrome) and then in the development tool go to the console tab and send us the screenshot of all the error shown there

    I am having the same issue. Below are the errors in web console in chrome.

    1. Failed to load /wp-json/dvin508-seo/v1/update_post:1 resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

    2. core.js:1427 ERROR Response
    defaultErrorLogger @ core.js:1427
