• Hello.. I am facing an issue for many days but I am unable to find out the solution. Whenever I do seo audit of my website, the error comes that my homepage images have no alt texts. I am using yoast plugin for sitemaps in which there is no separate images sitemap category. There is attachment sitemap category under which my all images are listed but in Google webmaster, it is written “image=0” which makes me think that they are not being considered as images by google also. Goole is taking all my images as attachments. Now, the images in my posts have alt texts being shown in page source but the homepage is not picking up alt texts when we view the source code. How can I get my images indexed and their alt text made visible? Is there any code I have to go for? Plus please tell me if there is some really good plugin for indexing of images.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The alternative text is naturally output on images in WordPress. In your case something must be preventing it from showing. Try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible. If none are, keep all plugins deactivated and switch to the Twenty Seventeen theme to check whether it’s an issue with your theme.

It is written in the plugins section. Is it possible that some of these is responsible for the changes?

Drop-ins are advanced plugins in the wp-content directory that replace WordPress functionality when present.
