Alt text on image not displayin, shows page title instead

    Hi there, just added the Max menu and added a few images to the menus, unfortunately instead of displaying the alt text against the image, on hover it will show the page title of whatever page you are on e.g. the image in mens will shoe “homepage” if on the homepage

    any ideas on how to rectify this? i have tried adding alt text or removing from the image uploaded to the image library, but no joy.

    Hi Steve,

    I’ve checked some other images on the page and their alt text is being changed to “homepage” also:

    I am not sure why that would be happening – there must be some code somewhere that is doing it. I would start with deactivating all plugins, and failing that, try switching theme to see if you can find out what is causing it.

    Sorted, it was another plugin overriding.
