If you set Table IX-C4 to ‘set in album admin’, there is an extra field in the album admin -> manage photo information, named: HTML Alt attribute:
Here you can enter your custom alt attribute text on an individual photo basis.

    At least… it should.

It appears not to work everywhere, at least not in slideshows.
I will fix this in the next version.

I overlooked this “HTML Alt attribute”, thank you.

You right, it works on single images but not in slideshows.

    Thank you for fixing it…

Do you also need it in lightbox? I am currently working on it, but have some problems in properly escaping for lightbox…

I don’t think so, as the visually impaired/blind person isn’t clicking on the photo to see it in the lightbox.

Yes, good point. However, I am a perfectionist, so it should work…
I get it working when i replace ” by ‘ in the lightbox alt only; I am going to do that.

It will be available by the end of the week ( tomorrow i hope ) in version 6.5.04
