Alt Tags aren't Displaying, and I'm stumped.

  • I have pre-existing alt tags that have never displayed properly on my site.

    I have also found that adding simple alt tags to images on my pages yields no results. My understanding is to add alt=”image description” following the height and width. Certainly seems easy enough. Is there something I am missing here?

    What do you mean by not displaying? They become missing in the code or? Link to a post would help. The ALT tag (attribute) doesn’t display around the image or when hovering. It’s only a placeholder really until the image loads.

    The title="Image Title" attribute will cause the text to appear in a tooltip when hovering over an image with the mouse.

    Tara, I am using SKT Bizness Pro.

    Mark, I assumed alt tags were for hovering descriptions, so this clears up a lot of my confusion. Thanks.
