Alt Pdf viewer doesn’t open in new tab

Hi again, loving your plugin and got alt/beta version working. But even though i have ‘open fullscreen links in new tab’ checked, it does not open in new tab using shortcode and beta version. For example here: https://sedgewick.io/talks/#21st-century-model
