Also an unexpected response when running preload cache

    I also get this error message when I click the preload cache button. I turned on the debug mode, here is the log. I just don’t see any errors in WP-Optimize, just an icon problem in my Vantage theme. I disabled and enabled the WP-Optimize and clicked the button again. The result is only that more Vantage errors appear in the log.
    I would like to hear what else I can do or test.

    Please could you open your browser’s Developer console (CTRL+SHIFT+J or F12 in most browsers, then select ‘Console’).
    Do you see any errors or warnings in that console? Could you send us a screenshot of these messages?

    Thanks for your reply. I’ve opened the console, this is the screenshot (you can download a sharp version):

    The console messages you see appeared when I opened the WP-Optimize options. Nothing changed after I clicked on Run now (preload cache). I runned the test on the new Microsoft Edge, beta version with only my password manager extension enabled and tracking prevention disabled.

    @musicfreak Can you please try to run it in another browser such as Firefox or Chrome and check if it works?

    Yesterday I tested it first in my main browser which is Firefox, but because of the hassle of disabling extensions I made a screenshot in Edge beta. I use the new chromium based Edge so I don’t think installing Chrome itself is necessary?

    @musicfreak Can you please try to disable other plugins one by one and check if it helps to fix the issue?

    @bornforphp I’ve disabled the plugins one by one, unfortunately it has no effect. I ended with only WP-optimise active.

    What suddenly struck me was the text behind the ‘Run now’ button, there I read ‘Last preload finished at 19:34, October 4, 2020’. Would the preload still work?
