Alphabetical Navigation/Pagination

Is it possible to implement an alphabetical navigation scheme for Ultimate Member Directories? In other words, provide links from A-Z to display all members whose names begins w/ a particular letter. This is a standard design pattern for directories, address books etc. and would be superior to numerical pagination, no?
