I’m using Version 2.2.10 of the pro Glossary plugin and I have the “Add Alphabetical list on top of Glossary Archives” setting turned on (using WordPress 6.4.2). However, the A-Z links are not appearing on the main Glossary page.

I checked the theme’s code and it does have the_archive_description(). I also tried switching to the Twenty Twenty-Three theme, and it didn’t appear then, either.

Thoughts on what the problem could be?

I think I figured it out? The alphabetical list doesn’t appear on the auto-generated glossary archive page, but it works with the shortcode.

The alphabetical list is completely different from the shortcode.
Depends on the theme if use the function you mentioned, instead the shortcode with the various parameters generate a whole new content.
