Alphabetic filtering

    This feature is exactly what I want, but it has a problem. If I have an entry in the Name field called John Doe, then when I click on D nothing appears. But if I click on J, then the John Doe listing comes up.

    So I created another field called Surname, and then entered Doe into that field. However, that did not work as the filtering seems to be tied to the Name field.

    Is there a file which I can edit so that the alphabetic filtering can be tied to the Surname field?

    Hi jjcostello01,

    Right now, the ABC filter is hard-wired to a single field in the version you have (the name). I totally agree that this would be a great feature. We have it on the list to add arbitrary field support for the future, but it’s not available today.
