Got it, please use “#main-content” instead of “#primary” in DOM position input box.

however I do not want that displays the Alphabetic menu in the main category, only the sub categories

I want the main category display normally apply the post but without the Alphabetic menu

There is an option for include and exclude thing but your requirements seem to be new. You have to wait for the next version for this feature or you can try a CSS fix for this. I would not suggest the pro version uselessly for merely 1 simple feature.
