• It’s a good thing that privacy got more attention but let’s face it, GDPR is a drag. I lost count how many times website owners ask their webdesigner for disclaimer text regarding GDPR and a detailed list of all cookies used. This plugin takes care of it, scans your site, generates a list of all cookies and provides the necessary text. I would give it 5 stars if it was truly set & forget. But it isn’t. I notice that after getting a 100% completed mark, after a while I see the plugin dropping to 97% complete, showing a red dot in the dashboard menu. Then you go through the wizard again, get back 100% completeness, then after a while again the indication that something needs attention.

    Hi @jorix,

Thank you for your positive review and feedback.

You are receiving this message because Complianz regularly scans your website to detect newly activated plugins or used cookies. If it does detect new plugins or cookies, it provides you with a heads up because this affects your Cookie Policy. You might want to do a quick check when this happens.

If you trust that these automated changes to your Cookie Policy are ok and you just want to ‘set & forget’, you can stop Complianz from reminding you by checking ‘disable notifications’ under Complianz -> Settings.

Thanks again for sharing your feedback.

    Kind regards,
    Leon

In addition to that: in the first weeks it is to be expected that the plugin regularly finds new cookies. After that, most cookies will be found, and the number of notifications will drop.
