Almost perfect

  • Very useful plugin and much more effective than Smush.it. Is there any chance of a bulk compression to go through all of the uploaded images in the media library and compress them? Also sometimes receive a server error, not every time but occasionally.

    Thanks for your feedback! We are planning to release a bulk compression feature in the future so that you can compress multiple images in your media library at one time.

    Unfortunately we are at the mercy of TinyPNG’s API when it comes to server errors. All images that the plugin processes are sent to TinyPNG directly for compression.

    By the way, the plugin is compatible with Smush.it so you might want to run Compress PNG for WP AND Smush.it so that PNGs and non-PNGs are compressed!

    That sounds great ?? With bulk compression the plugin would get a 5 from me! Appreciate the work you’ve done on it.

    I saw from the update notes, great work guys. Thanks a bunch ?? I install Compress PNG for WP as part of my basic website setup process now.
