Almost done, but description too long…

  • Hi everybody,

    I’m almost done with my ads import using the CSV ads importer plugin for Classipress, just one issue’s left : I think my ad’s descriptions are too long (sometimes more than 250 characters). No errors shown, just “Imported 0 item”…
    Can anybody help me ? It must be a simple modification somerwhere but I can’t figure it out… Thanks ?? !

  • Try looking for disallowed special characters. That will kick it every time.
    No quotes, or symbols in your text!

    I noticed that some caracters don’t break it all, like “&”, “+”, “-“, seems weird…

    Hi,

    I’m also trying to use this plugin. I manage to import ads, but I have two problems mainly:
    – I can see the expiration date is set by default to 30 days, instead of the 60 days I have set in the settings
    – I don’t manage to upload images for the ads. Which name of the field do you use for the images?

    In addition, how do you manage to add a description for the ad, including line breaks?
