Bought the Pro Version But…

  • Note: March 10, 2021 – I have updated my rating from 2 to 4 stars. In less than 4 hours, the plugin developer updated their website to address the issues and replied to me with an offer of a free copy of the PRO version. Instead, I paid for it at the discounted price. If a free plugin does its job and the developer responds quickly to issues, I pay for the full version almost without exception. Kudos to @osamaesh .

    I needed a stat plugin in a hurry and the free version worked okay. Most of the features are disabled, but I got enough info to sell me on buying the PRO version.

    Then I went to the website. Literally Flashing on and off so fast the screen is bouncing up and down. No kidding. No exaggeration.

    Gave me an instant headache.

    Making a purchase should not be a video game experience where you have to move the mouse in time with the buttons bouncing up and down the screen.
    So many flashing “BUY ME” “50 PERCENT OFF” “RELATED PLUGINS YOU NEED TO BUY NOWWWWW!!!!

    Are you kidding me?

    2 stars (updated to 4) because the free version worked. Won’t buy the pro because this isn’t 1995. This is the 2021. Give site visitors a professional experience.

    I did go to the website and saw that you had fixed the issues.
    At the very least, you demonstrated that you cared about user experience.
    I paid for the PRO version of the plugin at the 50% discount.
    So far I am happy with the plugin.
