Allows users to add posts & view only *their* posts in the admin panel

I want users to be able to add new posts. I know this can be done by making the user an Author. But, as an Author, they can see a lot of things in the admin panel that I don’t want them to see, like all posts that I’ve made, comments, etc. I will accept something as minimal as just letting them add new posts without having any access to the admin panel (except to change their password, email, etc). Any ideas?
