    Good morning,

    I just installed Wordfence on my WordPress site. By configuring it, I noticed that an IP address was automatically registered on Allowlisted IP addresses that bypass all rules.

    I can’t delete it.

    I did some tests by uninstalling the wp-rocket plugin, and the whitelisted IP address disappeared.

    I would like to ensure that this will not cause a security breach on my site. Could you help me ?

    THANKS.

    Bonjour,

    Je voudrais m’assurer que cela ne provoquera pas de faille de sécurité sur mon site. Pourriez-vous m’aider ?

    MERCI.

    Hi @mabprinter, thanks for getting in touch.

    We have seen cases before of some hosts enforcing an allowlisted IP here that returns after a delete and save operation on this page, so it’s not totally out of the question to see.

    //Edit:

    I found this documentation that may be relevant from your description https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/126-using-wordfence-with-wp-rocket

    Many thanks,
    Peter.

    No worries @mabprinter, if you have any further Wordfence questions in future by all means start up a new topic any time!
